All parts except for Direction(Steering) Control Devices and Transmission Parts As for Power transmission device, the following are not accepted
- Motor : 3 years passed from the date of sale or distance of travel over 60,000 km
(Diesel Motors can be recycled and used for other purposes besides automobiles)

- A fine will be charged when the registration is past the given period Vehicle Tax Balancing
- Submit Vehicle Tax as soon as effacement registration is done.
- Vehicle Taxes are imposed by date, therefore you must submit taxes as soon as possible in order to avoid paying an    additional amount.

- After full payment of Vehicle fee, an insurance fee return and an advancement for newly purchased vehicle is    possible.
- In cancelation of insurance registration, Insurance fee is returned.
- Advancement of insurance registration under newly purchased vehicles are possible when insurance is continued
   (Advancement possible for same vehicle model only) - The scrapping process must be done only through a licensed company and effacement registration is compulsory.
- The vehicle must be scrapped at a registered dealer and a receipt stating assumption of the vehicle must be given.
- In case of using an unlicensed dealer, a receipt is not given and when in the case of a problem, all responsibility is given to the owner of the vehicle.
- A one-year maximum sentence with a 3,000,000 WON fine is charged for negligence in not scrapping the vehicle of ownership.
- After scrapping a vehicle, it is compulsory to register for effacement at the registered government office within 30 days. A fine of 500,000 WON is imposed to those who exceed this period.

Restriction on scrapping vehicles - Vehicle Maintenance Law Clause 142 on Scrapping Vehicle Restriction.

1. In case the vehicle is bound under a mortgage or registered for confiscation.
   (Scrapping is possible when the mortgage or confiscation is no longer binding. It is also 1.possible when the person(s) in concern submits his or her approval with National 1.Registrations attached.)
2. Change of Vehicle Registration Number or other registrations different from the original registration of the vehicle.
